Maestro’s Ocean Club luxury seafood restaurant will open at The Woodlands later this year
Maestro’s Ocean Club, an ultra-chic, seafood-focused spinoff of Landry’s Mastro’s Steakhouse, is heading to The Woodlands later this year. The 8,500-square-foot restaurant, which will include a raw bar and offer dishes like Chilean sea bass and prime steaks, will open at 9595 Six Pines Drive, reports The Chronicle. Mastro’s Ocean Club has locations in Las Vegas, Scottsdale, Arizona, Fort Lauderdale, Boston and Newport Beach, CA. This will be the first location for Texas, although a Mastro’s Steakhouse exists near the Galleria.
NoPo Cafe offers grab-and-go breakfast and lunch in North Post Oak
NoPo Café, Market & Bar, the new restaurant born from the creators of B&B Butcher Shop and BB Italia, will officially open tomorrow, June 10, at 1244 North Post Oak Road. (NoPo is a neighborhood nickname — short for North Post Oak — created by owner and restaurateur Benjamin Berg.)
The cafe will be open all day, with counter breakfasts and lunches like egg and cheese tacos, oatmeal bowls, bologna sandwiches and salads, and dinners like fries. steak, ricotta tortellini and chicken paillard. The restaurant will also offer a variety of take-out meals. NoPo is open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.
Musaafer launches fundraiser to help relieve COVID-19 in India
Glamorous Indian restaurant Galleria Musaafer has launched a campaign in aid of COVID-19 relief in India, one of the hardest hit regions in the world during the ongoing pandemic. The restaurant owners have partnered with three organizations, Mission Oxygen, GiveIndia and Khalsa Aid, and created a program to encourage diners to donate when paying their restaurant bill. Additionally, Musaafer will host a multi-course dinner at the end of June, featuring Indian music and other performances, which will benefit all three organizations. Fundraising ends June 30.
