Ocean Park has launched a wide range of new water attractions, including Hong Kong’s first-ever indoor wave pool.

The new Water World Ocean Park – Asia’s first and only year-round oceanfront water park – features 27 outdoor and indoor rides and slides, which are a mix of thrill rides and family attractions.

The new water world includes five areas: Splendid Reef, Torrential River, Thrill Valley, Adventure Coast and Hidden Village.

Experiences range from extreme “white-knuckle” waterslides, such as Cyclone Spins and Daredevil Drop, to the Adventure Coast, where visitors can relax in beachside cabanas.

Paulo Pong, Vice President of Ocean Park, said, “The journey of exploration begins at Splendid Reef, a vast open area on the shores of the South China Sea.

“Our Water World Plaza guides will help adventurers prepare for their fun through the different areas.

“Adrenaline junkies can seek out the rush of wild twists and turns on Torrential River’s thrilling slides.

“For those who dare to take on tougher times, Thrill Valley will offer breathtaking extreme slides and free fall experiences that will take adventurers from the mountains to the valley below.

“For the more laid-back looking to unwind in the sun, Adventure Coast will be a comfortable choice to enjoy the sea breezes and refreshing bites.

“The Hidden Village offers awesome excitement for adventurers of all ages and includes the city’s first-ever indoor wave pool, Horizon Cove, presented by Manulife.”
