Digicel Business Ocean Club open on Fridays

The Butterfield Bermuda Championship will reopen the Digicel Business Ocean Club to customers on Friday, October 29.

A spokesperson said: “Ticket holders for the Digicel Business Ocean Club on Friday will have access to the deck on the Port Royal Golf Course’s signature hole to enjoy the second round action. In addition, they will again be welcomed at the Longtail Club at hole 18.

“Guests of the Longtail Club are treated to a view of the Port Royal Golf Course’s home hole while enjoying first-class hospitality. Food and beverage service will be available at the Longtail Club. Drinks will be served at the Digicel Business Ocean Club.

“We have worked with local authorities to ensure the safe reopening of Digicel Business Ocean Club,” said executive director Sean Sovacool. “The 16 hole structure has been reviewed by professional engineers to allow ticket holders to return to this scenic location and enjoy world-class golf. A further update will be provided to customers on Saturday and Sunday .

A spokesperson added: ‘Pink Day continues through Friday and guests are encouraged to wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Funds raised through championship initiatives will be donated to the Bermuda Cancer and Health Center and matched by the Butterfield Bermuda Championship’s Birdies for Charity program. “The public is reminded that the Butterfield Bermuda Championship operates as a SafeKey event. A valid Covid-SafeKey presented on arrival at entry points must be accompanied by government-issued identification, such as an ID card, passport or driver’s license.

It is the responsibility of spectators to ensure that they have a valid SafeKey downloaded or printed before their arrival.
