An An, Ocean Park’s beloved panda, dies at 35

In an announcement posted to Facebook on Thursday, Ocean Park shared the heartbreaking news that the park’s giant panda, An An, has died at the age of 35, which is 105 years in human age. As the world’s longest-lived male giant panda under human care, An An’s health has been slowly deteriorating over the past few weeks “with a sharp decrease in physical activities and food intake.”
