1305 Ocean Club: An Ideal Beachfront Vacation Property in the Wild Dunes Resort Community |

The Wild Dunes Resort is an iconic Isle of Palms (IOP) community where vacationers, residents and part-timers have visited and lived for decades. Developed in the 1970s, the resort encompasses 1,600 acres and many of its villas, condos, and homes have spectacular ocean access and views.

Residents of the Ocean Club have access to their own private clubhouse which has private parking and space for golf carts and bicycles. The newly renovated pool and spa has lush landscaping and is the perfect place to relax or socialize.

McElroy said the potential income from the house is around $75,000 to $95,000 per year.

“High season is March through September,” she said. “Most second home owners stay during the cooler months and rent out their properties during the season.”

The Wild Dunes Resort has its own separate country club and residents of the Ocean Club have the option of purchasing a membership which gives them privileges at the golf, tennis and swimming clubs. Membership packages can be customized to a resident’s desires.

“Wild Dunes has been in the top ten resorts and family destinations, nationally and with its proximity to Mount Pleasant and downtown and the privacy and resort vibe, it really is one of the best places for a second home or vacation home,” McElroy said. “A lot of the recent sales are people buying them and investing around $150,000 to $200,000, depending on finishes and furnishings. As of May 22, 2019, the list price for 1305 Ocean Club was $1.195 million.
